Recently, we had the chance to sample a Dewitt Cabernet Savingnon 2011 and found a real solid winner in the myriad of wine choices out there in the world of wine. We thought this wine was interesting because the wine making process started in Northern Nevada but ended up in the great wine growing region of Alexander Valley.

We had the opportunity to try this wonderful Alexander Valley Cabernet Savignon. On the nose there are aromatic lovely notes of dark fruit, chocolate covered cherries, with a vanilla crème brulee notes. With medium weight in the glass and on the palate there is a tremendous richness up front on the palate with lots of the crushed dark fruits.
This Cabernet is well balanced with integrated tannins due to the grapes robust structure. The finish lingers on the palate with those hints of dark cherries and vanilla.
